The living word is the only acceptance for us and with out Him we are outside our own ability to hear His voice and direction. The word was present and through Him we were created, thus the reason why it took Him to redeem each and everyone of us. When we present our life in array will we be able to say we chose Christ? Was our walk in the foots steps He put in front of us? Did we recognize Him so that we could understand the Father? Or did we fall back on our endless and meaningless traditions of man? Time spent doesn’t equal time well spent. Why do we continue to routinely look for God in our own boxes that we put Him in. His presence is all around us all the time. When we take time out of our day to check the box to feel better about ourselves instead of searching for Him it resembles powerless processes. The Pharisees spent many years up to their whole lives in religion but failed to see the face of God when they were amongst His midsts. How could they believe in Moses and the prophets but failed to see God in Jesus? We need to break the chains from the norm and become abnormal. Search for Him and seek His presence with a desire to know Him. Find Jesus in the presence in which He comes to you with out stretched hands. He came to serve, He came to redeem, He came to show us how to walk. He did not come for the righteous but the poor in spirit. He came to show the world the limits which we place on earth are nothing in His presence. So knowing this it can be a game changer when we recognize when we are in the presence vs amongst the Pharisees.

And the Father who sent me has himself borne witness about me. His voice you have never heard, his form you have never seen, and you do not have his word abiding in you, for you do not believe the one whom he has sent. You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me, yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life. I do not receive glory from people. But I know that you do not have the love of God within you. I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not receive me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him. How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God? Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you: Moses, on whom you have set your hope. For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote of me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?”
