John the Baptist was formed to a barren womb just as Jesus was formed without the help of a biological Father. The difference other than Gods son was made of God, is the faith and the chosen of who is involved. For I AM chose the right people because He knew them before they knew themselves. He knew the heart that was in each one of them. Gabriel came as a guide for the good news to come and when Zechariahs faith was concerning; he was made mute until He spoke the name John. John came before Jesus to prepare the hearts of many for what Jesus was to bring, the Gift of the Holy Spirit and Salvation. He was chosen at birth to prepare the nations for the Great I Am.
Knowing John had one of the greatest callings in biblical history; are we the Body called to the same purpose? (“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit – I AM”) Are we to go before the Lord in His return to make His paths straight? The great commission is clear. Yes, we are to go and bring up the redeemed. We are called to prepare the path of return by making disciples. Just as Jesus’s ministry in the Gospel began with John and his unique ability to prepare the soil for harvest. Jesus’s return will consist of His bride preparing the harvest to meet their bride groom. We have been empowered by the creator and liberated by His son. The chains of the devil and his works will no longer hold the body to the fire. Yes, we are at war with the evil one but we also know the end and the promises of God. We are called for something much greater than imagined. The only thing worse than death is to miss why we are still breathing. We are here to finish the works which were started many years ago. The number unknown, the day of complement a mystery but we have been given the end as promised in His word. Answer your calling, fulfill your purpose, heal the sick, raise the dead and drive out demons. Don’t miss what God has instore for you with the haste of an earthly life.
