Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you is no trouble to me and is safe for you. Philippians 3:1

At times, we need reassurance or firm notion we are on the path that is intended for us. Sometimes in our doubt we can come upon a crossroads to which many choices are available. This is where listening to the holy Spirit is most crucial. Because, one of the paths will always appear to be more attractive to our mind but our spirit is directing us to another. Even at times the path He directs us to may not look as certain or promising. It is better to take His path no matter the end result for we do not understand what He may be preparing for us. Hardships and trails do not come easy. But what is produced through the test of life is much more stable than that of a house built on sand. The Lord is making His body a house built on stone to endure the harshest of weather through the seasons to come. Because those who can be trusted with much will be responsible for more than those who can only be trusted with little. God does not send His blessings before we are tested for He knows what we can handle and He will never give us more than what we can be trusted with. He knows how our hearts can sway and He makes us stronger through every wave of hardship in life.

Gods beauty in speech is the many ways He chooses to talk to us. One important and sometimes over looked by all of us is His repetition. Subtle and also soft in approach, He sends us repetitive words, verses, images or objects to grab our attention and tell us which path at the proverbial cross roads to take. These are meant to influence our decisions and approaches to important life changing thoughts or notions. It is important when we feel these messages to approach the decisions or choices carefully and with the mentorship and prayer of the Holy Spirit. He is showing us something that fulfills or brings promise to each of us through our faithfulness and trust. It sends a powerful message of servanthood through our actions when we give Him full trust in a decision. He will then enrich our lives with more favor and blessing because we chose what He knew was best over a sure thought of our own way.

He may use repetition as a means to encourage us in times of doubt that we are doing what is right; reaffirming what He has called us to do. See in faith we can easily doubt our actions since not every moment in trust with God is not as simple as black and white. Moments in our walk can sometimes feel like walking in a dark room without light. My suggestion is close your eyes and picture what the room looks like and walk in trust. He goes ahead of us and gives light to our faithfulness. By listening to His grace in our daily walk, He tends to give us a message of similarity. What an encouragement from our creator that He has given each and every one of us purpose to His greater plan. What king in history has ever entrusted every single person in his kingdom with part of his treasure? Just as a spider creates a web; God comes full circle in our lives to give us fulfillment and beauty in His presence. Repetition from God, yet subtle can lead to tremendous reformation in our lives. Are you listening when He places repetition in front of you? Are you ready for increase?

Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts in rebellion, on the day of testing in the wilderness, where your fathers put me to test and saw my works for forty years. Therefore I was provoked with that generation, they always go astray in their hearts; they have not known my ways. As I swore in my wrath they shall not enter my rest- I AM
